All the teams of walkers met at the Jacksonville Landing
before the 9 AM start time. Coffee, orange juice, water, donuts and fruit
were free to everyone. |

| Everyone is bright-eyed and ready to tackle the five
mile course. |

It's almost 9:00 AM, time to hit the road.
Not very far into the course, we made the first crossing
of the Acosta Bridge.
The approach was steep, but the view is great.

Across the river, into the San Marco area, the walkers
made quick work of LaSalle Street, about halfway through the walk. |
|
 |
| We took a short rest beneath the ancient Treaty Oak before
the return trip across the Acosta Bridge. |

After the walk, which took about 100 minutes for the
five mile course, we met at the European Street deli for an early lunch. |
